Merk'S Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pt. sour cream
6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Add eggs, singly, beating well after each addition.
