Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. diced fine rhubarb
Preparation

Cream together the shortening, packed brown sugar and egg. Mix flour, sour milk or buttermilk and vanilla in separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture.
Fold in rhubarb.
Bake at 325\u00b0 in 13 x 8-inch pan for 50 minutes.
