Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c flour
2 c sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 cube oleo
1 c water
1/2 c Crisco
4 heaping tbsp cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar and salt together in bowl and set aside, In large sauce pan or big skillet, combine oleo, water and Crisco and cocoa.
Heat until boiling, stirring to mix.
Remove from heat. then add flour sugar and salt mixture.
Stir just to blend.
All eggs, butter, milk, vanilla, and soda.
Stir to blend well.
Pour into greased floured long cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
While cake is hot put on icing.
