Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. thick rhubarb sauce, thickened
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and egg together.
    Add rhubarb sauce. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture.
    Bake in a buttered and floured pan about 9 x 11-inch for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve warm, un-iced, or frost with vanilla icing when cool.
