Mexican Burrito Pie - cooking recipe

1 (16 oz.) can refried beans with green chilies
1 c. biscuit mix
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. thick and chunky salsa
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. commercial sour cream
Preparation

Combine beans, biscuit mix and water in a medium bowl; mix well.
Spoon bean mixture into a lightly greased 9-inch pie plate to form a pie shell.
Set pie shell aside.
Cook ground beef until browned, stirring occasionally to crumble; drain well.
Spoon meat over bean mixture; top with salsa.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Cut into wedges; serve immediately.
Dollop with sour cream.
