Streamlined White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. warm water
    2 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a bowl dissolve yeast in water.
    Measure flour.
    Add shortening, salt, sugar and half the flour to yeast.
    Beat 2 minutes with electric mixer.
    Add remaining flour.
    Blend in with a spoon.
    Cover with cloth.
    Let rise in a warm place until double, about 30 minutes.
