Ingredients

2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. blended oatmeal (measure first, blend to fine powder)
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. Hershey bar, grated
3 c. chopped nuts
4 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda.
Add chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts.
Shape into balls the size of walnuts or roll into logs and wrap in wax paper as icebox cookies. Chill and slice 1/4-inch thick.
Bake 6 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Makes 112 cookies.
