Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cook and mash squash.
    Add onion.
    Combine layer of squash and butter.
    Add cracker crumbs, grated cheese with other ingredients and layer on squash.
    Add layers until all used.
