Mom'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples
    1/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. whole-wheat flour
    1/4 c. rolled oats
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples. Place in 8 x 8 x 2 pan. Mix water and lemon juice, then pour over apples. Mix sugar, flour, oats and spices. Add margarine to dry mixture. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake at 350\u00b0 until apples are tender and topping is slightly brown, about 40 minutes.
