Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    5 eggs
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. black walnuts
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening for 2 minutes at medium speed. Gradually add sugar, beat for 5-7 minutes.
    Add eggs 1 at a time just till yellow disappears. Combine flour and baking powder.
    Add together alternating with milk; beginning and ending with flour. Mix just till blended.
    Stir in vanilla and walnuts.
    Bake 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool 10-15 minutes.
