Easy Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 11 c. sliced peeled baking apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 packed c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Place apples in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Combine sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. Combine flour, brown sugar, oats, baking powder, nutmeg and remaining cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until apples are tender. Yield: 12 servings.
