Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped sauerkraut, drained
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/2 green pepper, cut into thin strips
    1/2 c. grated carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento, drained
Preparation
    Combine sauerkraut and sugar, mixing well.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients; stir well.
    Cover and chill at least 12 hours.
