Ham And Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium-size onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 pkg. (5.5 oz.) au gratin potatoes
    2 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. milk
    1 ham steak, cut about 1/2 inch thick
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil in a large skillet until tender, 3 minutes. Stir potato slices, sauce mix, water and milk.
    Cut ham into cubes, add to the potato.
    Bring to boiling, stirring frequently.
    Lower heat.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
