Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, whipped
    2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    4 heaping c. peeled and diced tart apples, granny apples
    1 small can (7 or 8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained, don't use the juice
    1 c. ground cocktail peanuts
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients until thickened and then cool.
    Add fruit and nuts to thickened mixture and mix well.
    Add Cool Whip to apple mixture.
    Chill for 2 hours or more.
