Ingredients

1 c. oleo or butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
4 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar together.
Add eggs, one at a time, continuing to beat.
Add sour cream and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
Roll on floured canvas, fairly thick.
Cut with large round cutter.
Place on cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with what you desire.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
These cookies should be large and soft.
Chill the dough before rolling.
