Honey Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick cooking oats
1/3 c. Land O Lakes sweet cream butter
2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. honey
1 Tbsp. salt
2 (1/4 oz.) pkg. active dry yeast
2 eggs
6 1/4 to 7 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. quick cooking oats
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, combine 1 cup oats, butter, boiling water, honey and salt.
Cool to warm (105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0).
Stir in yeast.
Add 2 eggs and 2 1/2 cups flour.
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth (1 to 2 minutes).
Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes). (Add more flour as needed until dough no longer sticks.)
Place in greased bowl; turn greased side up.
