Homestyle Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. macaroni pasta
    4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 finely chopped red bell pepper
    1/3 c. chopped red onion
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2-1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1-1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to pkg. directions.
    Transfer to colander and rinse under cold water; drain.
    Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl until well blended.
    Add cooled pasta and toss to coat.
