Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 large egg
1 c. fruit
2 tsp. pure vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
In bowl combine flour and baking powder; set aside.
In medium bowl cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; beat on medium until smooth.
Add flour mixture; combine.
Dough will be firm.
Make 1 inch diameter balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Scoop out middle of dough ball. Do not scoop all the way through the cookie.
Place 1/2 teaspoon jam in the center of each dough ball.
Bake 22 to 24 minutes. Transfer to a cool flat surface.
