Louise'S Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. catsup
1/2 Tbsp. mustard
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of red pepper
Preparation

Cover chicken with water and bring to boil.
Remove from heat and leave covered with fitted lid while preparing sauce.
Saute the onion in the cooking oil until tender.
Add vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, catsup, mustard, water, salt and red pepper to the sauteed onion and simmer ingredients for 30 minutes.
Remove chicken from water, drain and pat dry.
Place in casserole dish and pour barbecue sauce on top.
Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
