Spicy Pinto Beans And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. dried pinto beans
    2 fresh jalapenos (optional)
    1 lb. Owens country sausage (hot; optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Combine beans, salt, pepper and sliced jalapenos.
    Cook 3 to 4 hours, until beans are tender, adding water as needed.
    Brown sausage; drain.
    Combine with beans and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until ready to eat.
