Spinach Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked as directed
    3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    salt to taste
    3 slices American cheese, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Make a white sauce by combining shortening, flour and milk. Add cooked spinach and cheese. Stir constantly until cheese melts. If you would like a more liquid soup, add more milk.
