Raspberry Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 egg whites
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry gelatin
    1 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water together over moderate heat until it reaches the hard ball stage (252\u00b0) by candy thermometer, stirring often.
    Beat egg whites until foamy, then add the gelatin.
    Continue beating until egg whites stand in peaks, then slowly beat in the hot syrup mixture.
    Continue beating until test spoonful will hold its shape.
    Add nuts; drop quickly onto waxed paper, or pour out onto greased dish.
    Cut into pieces.
