Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. milk, scalded
    8 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and salt; pour scalded milk into eggs, stirring constantly, until mixture coats spoon.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Makes 12 servings.
