Lemon Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. milk
    2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    juice from 1 lemon
Preparation
    Heat milk and pour over bread crumbs.
    Add butter and let stand a few minutes.
    Combine sugar, egg yolks, salt and lemon juice; add to crumbs.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 1 hour.
    When done, top with stiffly beaten egg whites, sweetened with 1/2 cup sugar. Return to oven to brown, about 5 minutes.
