Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
scant 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. cream (16 oz.)
9-inch unbaked pie shell
cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Sift together sugar, flour and salt.
Stir in 1 cup cream to make paste.
Stir paste until smooth, then add the remaining cup of cream.
Beat lightly.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with 1 tablespoon butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Filling must boil all over in little heat bubbles.
