Corn Meal Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. plain corn meal
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    6 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease and flour 10-inch pan.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla and pinch of salt.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour, corn meal and soda together 3 times.
    Add alternately with sour cream.
    Add salt to the egg whites and beat until peaks form.
    Fold in the beaten egg whites. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
