Chicken Continental - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans boned chicken
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can green chilies
    1 can water chestnuts
    12 taco shells
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Chop up an onion in small pieces.
    Saute in butter.
    Add the rest of the ingredients except for cheese and taco shells.
    Stir well.
    Butter a casserole dish.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into dish. Crush up 6 taco shells and sprinkle over mixture.
    Top with 1/2 of cheese.
    Repeat procedure again: mixture, shells and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
