Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 c. popcorn
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. English walnuts (optional)
    1 Tbsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put popcorn and nuts in large baking pan (2 1/2-inches deep). I use aluminum throw away-bake turkey size.
    Spray pan with Pam. Bring to boil the margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt.
    Boil 5 minutes without stirring.
    Remove from heat.
    Add baking soda and maple flavoring.
    Stir well.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Stir to coat popcorn.
    Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Cool. Store in metal cookie cans.
