Chocolate Dotted Cake(Children Love This Cake.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. water
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    In a bowl, beat shortening, sugar, vanilla, water and eggs until mixture is light and fluffy.
    In a separate dish, mix flour with baking soda and salt, then blend into shortening mixture. Stir in nuts and chips.
    Bake in a lightly greased Bundt pan in a 375\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until light brown.
