French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. onions, sliced
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 cans condensed beef broth
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter until translucent and tender.
    Add onions, beef broth and spices to crock-pot and cook all day. Place 1/2 slice toasted bread in each of 8 oven-safe bowls.
    Pour soup into bowls and place 1/2 slice of cheese over soup.
    Broil in oven until brown.
