Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 small can cream-style corn
    1 medium chopped onion
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
    2 pods pepper (jalapeno)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients but cheese. Pour half into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Spread cheese over mixture.
    Cover with rest of mixture.
    Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
