Selma'S Soup From Evie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 soup bone with at least 1 lb. meat on it
1 lb. lentils
1/2 c. barley
1 large carrot, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
1 potato, diced
3 Tbsp. salt
dash of garlic powder
4 qt. water
1 pkg. smoked sausage or wieners
Preparation
-
Brown onion and soup bone in a small amount of oil.
Add rest of ingredients, except sausage or wieners, and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool.
To serve, heat soup with cubed sausage or wieners.
