Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add milk and well beaten egg.
Stir.
Bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil 2 minutes.
Continue to stir.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla, rice and raisins.
Serve warm or chilled.
