Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter or margarine
3 c. quick cooking oats
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. coconut (optional)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add other ingredients.
Mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
