Out Of This World Lime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
1 c. boiling water
1/2 lb. small marshmallows
1 c. chopped nuts
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 carton cottage cheese
10 maraschino cherries, cut in small pieces
1/2 pt. heavy cream or whipped cream topping mix

Preparation

Combine jello and marshmallows.
Add boiling water.
Stir until marshmallows are partly melted.
Add pineapple.
Mix well; refrigerate until partially set.
Remove and stir in nuts, cottage cheese and cherries.
Fold in stiffly whipped cream or prepared topping.
Return to refrigerator and chill until firm.
Serve on lettuce leaves if desired.
