Harold'S Favorite Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. shredded coconut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Add water and vanilla, mixing well.
    Combine flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; add to creamed mixture and mix.
    Stir in oats, nuts, raisins, chocolate chips and coconut.
    Dough may be divided and various combinations of nuts, raisins, chips added.
    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Yield: about 8 dozen.
