Breaded Veal Steaks(Wiener Schnitzel) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 veal steaks
    salt and pepper
    flour
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    3 to 4 Tbsp. shortening
    lemon wedges
Preparation
    Beat steaks until thin.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Dip into flour, then in egg mixture, then in bread crumbs.
    Fry in shortening until brown on both sides.
    Garnish with lemon wedges. Makes 4 servings.
