Hearty Black-Eyed Pea Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
    4 cups water
    3 cans (15 oz.) black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
    1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
    1 4 oz. can chopped green chilies
    4 beef bouillon cubes
    4 tsp. molasses
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
Preparation
    Cook sausage, beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Yields 12-16 servings or about 4 quarts.
