Date Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. dates
2 c. pecans
2 Tbsp. Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Stir milk, sugar and Karo over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
When mixture boils, reduce heat to low and stir constantly until mixture forms a soft ball.
Add dates and cook until ball forms again.
Let cool.
Add pecans and vanilla.
Pour on waxed paper about 2 feet long and roll.
