Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add 1 cup raisins and 1 or 2 tablespoons caraway seed to flour mixture.
Add buttermilk and melted butter to beaten egg mixture.
Add to flour mixture. Combine well; pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until done.
