Venison Mincemeat "Son-Of-A-Gun Style" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped suet
    3 lb. ground venison (from head or neck)
    8 c. chopped apples
    2 lb. raisins
    1 Tbsp. mixed spices
    1 c. molasses
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. apple cider
    touch of whiskey (for taste)
Preparation
    Cook in large black kettle until suet meat melts.
