Easy Cheese Biscuits(Club Member: Jason Baldwin) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. Crisco shortening
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. (4 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of red pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0. Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cheese, dry mustard and red pepper; stir. Add milk and stir with a fork until dough leaves sides of bowl. Turn dough onto floured board and knead just until smooth. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with 2-inch cutter. Bake on greased pan with edges slightly touching for 10 to 12 minutes.
