Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. cold cooked rice
    4 lightly beaten eggs
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil until brown.
    Add rice and saute.
    Mix in eggs, soy sauce and salt.
    At this point, 1 1/2 cups crumbled cooked bacon, ham or shrimp may be added.
    This may be made in advance and reheated in a small amount of oil after the addition of the eggs.
