Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 beef bouillon cubes
1 c. boiling water
2 lb. round or sirloin steak, cut in thin strips (about 2 inches long)
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. shortening (Canola oil)
1 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Dissolve bouillon in water; set aside.
Dredge meat in flour and seasonings.
Brown meat in 1/4 cup of shortening.
Add onion and saute in remaining shortening.
Add onion, mushrooms and bouillon to meat; mix thoroughly.
Cover and bake slowly at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Add Worcestershire sauce.
Fold in sour cream.
Serve on buttered noodles or rice.
