Never Fail Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix together.
    Beat with mixer while cooking, about 3 minutes, until light fluffy.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Good with crushed pineapple for layer cake.
