Deer Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. meat, sliced thinly into strips
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 ___ Worcestershire
    1 Tbsp. coarse pepper
    garlic salt to taste
    liquid smoke to taste
Preparation
    Soak meat in this mixture 2 to 3 hours.
    Put on paper towels to blot.
    Put meat over racks in oven.
    Turn oven as low as it will go.
    Cook 8 to 9 hours with door ajar.
    Air dry 8 hours. Store in jars or Ziploc bags.
