Bohemian Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo, softened
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat together the butter and sugar.
    Add other ingredients and mix well.
    Spread on cookie sheet.
    Save 1 1/2 cups of mixture. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling over this real thin.
    Leave 1/2-inch from each side.
    Spread rest of flour mixture thin over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Frost with powdered sugar icing or glaze.
    Bake in a 10 x 15-inch cake pan.
