Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peeled and cooked fresh or canned tomatoes
    2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. minced onion or green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Season tomatoes with salt, onion and pepper.
    Fill baking dish with crumbs and tomatoes, in alternate layers, with crumbs on top. Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for half hour.
    May sprinkle cheese on top.
    Serves 6.
