Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    nutmeg (optional)
    1 (9-inch) pie crust (unbaked)
Preparation
    Refrigerate pie crust while preparing filling.
    Add sugar, salt, almond flavoring and vanilla to the eggs, stirring constantly.
    Slowly pour in the milk. Pour into pastry lined pie pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between side and center comes out clean.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
