French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Mix boiling water, butter and sugar together.
    Let cool. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Mix all ingredients together and stir in 6 or 6 1/2 cups flour.
    May be lumpy.
    Stir every 10 minutes 5 times.
    Divide dough in half; roll like jelly roll. Pinch together.
    Cut 3 small slashes on top.
    Let rise for about an hour.
    Sprinkle cornmeal in greased pans and bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
